The Allander Water is a river in Scotland. Its name in Scottish Gaelic is Uisge Alandair. This river flows through parts of East Dunbartonshire and Stirling.
The Allander Water is one of the three main rivers that feed into the River Kelvin. Rivers that flow into a larger river are called tributaries. The other two main tributaries of the River Kelvin are the Glazert Water and the Luggie Water.
Where the Allander Water Flows
The Allander Water travels through the town of Milngavie. It eventually joins the River Kelvin. The point where it meets the River Kelvin is called its mouth.
