Alyson Michalka (born March 25, 1989) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is often known as Aly Michalka.
Aly became well-known for her main role as Keely Teslow in the Disney Channel TV show Phil of the Future (2004–2006). She also appeared in movies like Bandslam (2009) and Easy A (2010). Later, she had important roles in TV series such as Hellcats (2010–2011) and iZombie (2015–2019).
Aly Michalka is also part of the music group Aly & AJ with her sister, AJ.

Early Life and Hobbies
Alyson Michalka was born in Torrance, California. She grew up in Seattle, Washington, and Southern California. Her younger sister, Amanda Joy "AJ", is also an actress and musician. Their mother, Carrie, is a musician.
Aly started playing the piano when she was five years old. She began playing the guitar when she was 13. She also started acting in church plays when she was five. She was raised as a Christian.
Acting Career
In 2004, Aly Michalka got the role of Keely Teslow. This was on the Disney Channel show Phil of the Future. The show started on June 18, 2004. Disney Channel ended the series after two seasons in 2006.
Aly also starred in the Disney Channel movie Now You See It.... She appeared in the TV movie Cow Belles with her sister. In 2007, they were in the MTV film Super Sweet 16: The Movie.
In 2009, Aly co-starred in the film Bandslam. In 2010, The CW network cast her in the main role of Marti Perkins. This was for the cheerleading drama series Hellcats. The show was not renewed after its first season. In 2011, Aly made a guest appearance on CSI: NY. She also had big roles in the movies Easy A and The Roommate.
In 2013, Aly Michalka appeared in the movie Crazy Kind of Love. She also had a role on the TV show Two and a Half Men. From 2015 to 2019, she had a main role on the CW series iZombie.
Music Career
Aly Michalka and her sister AJ formed the music group Aly & AJ in 2004. They released their first album, Into the Rush, in August 2005. In September 2006, they released a holiday album called Acoustic Hearts of Winter.
In July 2007, their third album, Insomniatic, came out. It included the popular song "Potential Breakup Song". For a short time, the duo changed their name to 78violet. They later went back to their original name, "Aly & AJ," in 2015.
In 2017, they released a new song called "Take Me." This was the first song from their EP, which came out in July 2017. On May 7, 2021, they released their album A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun.
Personal Life
Aly Michalka married independent film producer Stephen Ringer in June 2015. They met while working on the movie Sequoia. Aly gave birth to their son in April 2024.
