Amanda Grace Sudano Ramirez, born on August 11, 1982, is an American singer and model. She is also part of the music group called Johnnyswim.
Early Life
Amanda Sudano was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was the famous singer Donna Summer, and her father is songwriter Bruce Sudano. She has two older sisters, Mimi and actress Brooklyn Sudano.
Amanda spent her early childhood in Thousand Oaks, California. When she was 13, her family moved to Nashville, Tennessee. There, she went to Christ Presbyterian Academy for high school and later attended Vanderbilt University.
Modeling Career
Amanda Sudano is a model with the Bella Agency in New York.
In 2010, a famous designer named Fabrizio Viti chose Amanda to model for Louis Vuitton. This was for their Spring/Summer 2010 shoe collection. Amanda was the first black model to be featured alone in Louis Vuitton advertisements.
In September 2011, Amanda was recognized by Vogue magazine. She placed second in their "Special Edition Best Dressed" feature.
Music Career
In 2005, Amanda met Abner Ramirez in Nashville. He is a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. They became friends and decided to form a band together called Johnnyswim.
The duo has performed many different songs. They have covered classics like "La Vie En Rose" by Edith Piaf. They also covered pop songs like "Till The World Ends" by Britney Spears. Johnnyswim is also known for their original songs. One of their popular songs is "Home," which became the theme song for the TV show Fixer Upper on HGTV.
Johnnyswim released their first music collection, an EP (Extended Play), in 2008. It was called Johnnyswim. They released another EP, 5-8, in 2010. After that, they released singles like Bonsoir and Good News in 2011. A third EP, Home, Vol. 1, came out in 2012.

Personal Life
In 2009, Amanda Sudano married her bandmate, Abner Ramirez, in Florida. Her father, Bruce Sudano, wrote a song for her called "The Amazing Amanda Grace." This song is on his album Life and the Romantic. Footage from her wedding was even used in the music video for another song from that album, "It's Her Wedding Day." That song was actually written about her sister Brooklyn's wedding in 2006.
Amanda lives with her husband in Los Angeles, California. They have three children. Their son, Joaquin, was born in February 2015. In 2018, they welcomed a daughter named Luna. In November 2019, they announced the birth of their second daughter, Paloma.
As of 2021, Amanda and her family star in two TV shows on Magnolia Network. These shows are Home on the Road with Johnnyswim and The Johnnyswim Show.
