Amersham station is a busy railway station located in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. It's an important stop for people traveling to and from London. This station is in Travelcard Zone 9, which helps you figure out how much your train ticket will cost.
Amersham Station is special because it's the very last stop, or terminus, for one branch of the Metropolitan line on the London Underground. It's about 23.7 miles (38.1 km) north west of Charing Cross in London. In fact, it's the second most westerly station on the entire London Underground system, right after Chesham.
You can also catch Chiltern Railways trains from Amersham Station. These trains travel between London Marylebone and Aylesbury. From Aylesbury, you can even connect to other services that go all the way to Birmingham Snow Hill. A trip to Central London can take anywhere from 33 to 60 minutes.

- Chiltern Railways: These trains connect Amersham to London Marylebone and Aylesbury. If you're heading to London, Chiltern Railways offers a direct route. If you're going to Aylesbury, you can connect to other trains there, including a shuttle service to Princes Risborough. This can even get you to places like Birmingham Snow Hill.
