Shernette Amoy Evans, known as Ammoye, is a talented reggae musician from Jamaica who now lives in Canada. She is famous for being nominated seven times for the Juno Award for Reggae Recording of the Year, which is a big music award in Canada.

Ammoye grew up in Halse Hall, Jamaica. When she was a teenager, she moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In the 2000s, she became part of the music scene in Toronto. She even contributed music to a special collection called Version Xcursion, which featured Jamaican-Canadian artists. Her very first album was Haffi Win, which she made with Eric Vani, also known as Rise Ashen.

Ammoye has been recognized many times for her amazing reggae music. She received her first Juno Award nomination in Juno Awards of 2013 for her song "Radio".

She continued to be nominated for this prestigious award:
