Amparo Llanos Fayos (born 27 May 1965) is a Spanish musician. She is known as a talented guitarist and songwriter. Amparo was a leader of the famous Spanish rock band Dover. She led the band alongside her sister, Cristina.

Amparo's Musical Journey
Before starting Dover, Amparo worked in her mother's shop. She also studied history and journalism for a while. However, her passion for music led her to a different path.
Forming the Band Dover
Amparo's musical influences include legendary bands. She loved The Beatles, R.E.M, and Nirvana. In 1995, Dover released their first album, titled Sister. The band members were Amparo and Cristina Llanos. Jesús Antúnez played the drums, and Alvaro Díez played bass. This first album sold about 700 copies.
Dover's Big Success
Two years later, in 1997, Dover released Devil Came to Me. This album became a huge success! They sold an amazing 800,000 copies. This made Dover one of the most popular bands in Spain.
Changing Sounds and Styles
Dover continued to make music and explore new sounds. In 2006, they released Follow the City Lights. This album showed a new electronic music style. Later, their album I Ka Kené came out. It had strong influences from African music. In February 2015, Dover released Complications. With this album, they returned to their original rock sound.
Amparo's Role Behind the Scenes
Amparo was very involved in the band's business side. She talked with managers and record labels. She also helped sign new groups for the Loli Jackson Records label. During tours, Amparo even wrote letters by hand to the band's fans.
