How to Reach the Lake

Getting to Amphitheater Lake is an adventure! You can reach it by hiking a trail that starts at the Lupine Meadows trailhead. The hike is considered challenging. It is just under 10 miles (16 km) (about 16 kilometers) for the round trip. This means you walk almost 10 miles to get there and back. The climb is quite steep, but the views along the way are incredible.
