Amy Rose Roberts (born on December 24, 1994) is a talented Welsh racing cyclist. She has competed in both road cycling and track cycling. Her last team was Parkhotel Valkenburg.
Amy Roberts' Cycling Journey
Amy grew up in a town called Pontyberem, Wales. When she was 14, she first got into triathlon. This sport combines swimming, cycling, and running. To get better at the cycling part, she joined a local cycling club called Towy Riders. Within just one year, she became the Under-16 Welsh National Cyclo-cross Champion! Cyclo-cross is a type of bike race that involves riding on different terrains.
Amy was also part of British Cycling's Olympic Talent Team. This team helps young, promising athletes develop their skills. It prepares them for future Olympic competitions.
In 2014, Amy represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. She competed in several cycling events there. These included the time trial, individual pursuit, scratch race, and points race.
Her Family Life
Amy's younger sister, Jessica Roberts, is also a professional cyclist. Jessica won the 2018 British National Road Race Championships. It is cool that both sisters are successful cyclists!

- She won 1st place in the Youth Points race.
- She took 3rd place in the Junior Scratch race.
- She also got 3rd in the Youth Individual pursuit.
- And 3rd in the Youth 500m time trial.

- She placed 3rd in the Junior National Cyclo-cross Championships.
- 2012
- She won 1st place in the Team pursuit at the UEC European Junior Track Championships. She won with her teammates Elinor Barker and Lucy Garner.
- She won 1st place overall in the Surf & Turf Weekend race series.
- She got 2nd place in the Team pursuit at the 2012–13 UCI Track World Cup in Cali.
- At the UCI Junior Track World Championships:
- She earned 3rd place in the Points race.
- She also got 3rd in the Team pursuit with Hayley Jones and Elinor Barker.
- 2013
- She achieved 3rd place in the Team pursuit at the 2012–13 UCI Track World Cup in Aguascalientes. She raced with Ciara Horne and Elinor Barker.
- 2014
- She won 1st place in the Team pursuit at the 2014–15 UCI Track World Cup in Guadalajara. Her teammates were Laura Trott, Elinor Barker, and Ciara Horne.
- She won Round 4 of the Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series in Redditch.
- She took 2nd place in the Omnium at the Open des Nations sur Piste de Roubaix.
- She also got 2nd place in the National Criterium Championships.

- She earned 2nd place in the Points race at the Irish International Track GP.
