An Yong-Hak (Hangul: 안영학; born 25 October 1978) is a former professional footballer. He played as a midfielder, which means he helped both defend and attack for his team. An Yong-Hak was born in Japan. He played for the North Korea on the international stage.

An Yong-Hak's Football Journey
An Yong-Hak started his football career in Japan. He played for Rissho University from 1998 to 2001. After university, he became a professional player. He was known for being a strong and reliable midfielder.
Playing in Japan
An Yong-Hak played for several teams in Japan. His first professional club was Albirex Niigata. He played there from 2002 to 2004. With Albirex Niigata, he helped them win the J2 League title in 2003. This win helped the team move up to the top league, the J1 League.
After Albirex Niigata, he joined Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2005. Later, he returned to the J1 League with Omiya Ardija in 2010. He also played for Kashiwa Reysol from 2011 to 2012. At Kashiwa Reysol, he won the J1 League in 2011. He also won the Japanese Super Cup in 2012 with them. His last club in Japan was Yokohama FC, where he played from 2014 to 2017.
Playing in South Korea
An Yong-Hak also played in South Korea. He joined Busan IPark in 2006 and played there until 2007. Then, he moved to Suwon Bluewings in 2008. With Suwon Bluewings, he had a very successful time. He helped them win the K League 1 title in 2008. They also won the Korean FA Cup in 2009 and the Korean League Cup in 2008.
Playing for North Korea
An Yong-Hak played for the North Korea national team for many years. He represented his country from 2002 to 2012. He played in 40 international matches and scored 3 goals.
One of his biggest achievements was playing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This is a huge tournament where countries from all over the world compete. It was a very special moment for him and for North Korea. He also played in the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, another important international competition.
