Anna Layevska (born January 10, 1984) is a talented Ukrainian-Mexican actress and singer. She is known for her many roles in TV shows and movies.

Early Life and Moving to Mexico
Childhood in Ukraine and Russia
Anna Layevska was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, on January 10, 1984. Her father, Serhii Laievskyi, was a violinist, and her mother, Inna Rastsvetaeva, was an actress. Anna is their only child.
In 1987, when Anna was three years old, her family moved from Kyiv to Moscow, Russia. She started playing the violin at the age of five, showing her musical talent early on.
Starting Acting in Mexico
In 1991, Anna and her family moved to Mexico. This move was a big change for her. After arriving in Mexico, she began to study acting. This was the start of her journey into the world of television and film.

Early Roles and Big Breaks
Anna studied acting at the Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico, which is a famous school run by Televisa. Her skills quickly helped her get small roles. She appeared in music videos and early TV shows like Alguna vez tendremos alas (1997), Preciosa (1998), and Amor Gitano (1999). These early experiences helped her learn and grow as an actress.
In 2000, a producer named Pedro Damián cast her in the TV show Primer amor... a mil por hora. This was a big step for her career. She acted alongside other young stars like Anahí and Kuno Becker. For her role in this show, Anna won the TVyNovelas Award for Best Female Revelation, which means she was recognized as a great new talent. She also won the Palmas de Oro prize in the same category.
Movies and Reality TV
In 2001, Anna starred in her first movie, In the Time of the Butterflies. In this film, she worked with famous actresses like Salma Hayek.
Later, in 2005, Anna joined the reality TV show Bailando Por Un Sueño. On this show, celebrities team up with regular people to compete in dance. Even though the judges sometimes didn't like her performances, the public voted to keep her on the show three times. She ended up finishing in third place overall.
Recent Television Successes
Anna has continued to star in many popular TV shows. She played Elena Calcaño in El Fantasma de Elena from Telemundo Studios. She also took on a main villain role in Telemundo's Mi Corazón Insiste, where she acted with Jencarlos Canela and Carmen Villalobos.
In 2012, she was in Telemundo's Relaciones Peligrosas as Paty. The next year, in 2013, she played the main character, Ignacia Santamaria, in Dama y obrero.
In 2016, Anna returned to Televisa to play Camila Borges, the main bad guy, in the series Sin rastro de ti. She has continued to work steadily, appearing in shows like Blue Demon (2016–2017), Maldita tentación (2017), and The War Next-door (2021). Her most recent role was in Dra. Lucía, un don extraordinario in 2023.
Personal Life and Hobbies
Besides acting, Anna Layevska is also a talented singer. She plays two musical instruments: the violin and the piano. When she was younger, she took classes in classical music, which helped her develop her musical skills.
Anna is also very good with languages. She can speak Russian, Spanish, and English fluently.
In 2014, Anna married a businessman named Rodrigo Moreira. They have two children together: a daughter named Masha and a son named Santiago.
