Music Career Highlights
In 1998, Ana Nikolić first appeared on TV in the show 3K Dur. She sang "Kolačići" by Denis & Denis. In April 2003, she became very popular. This happened when she joined the national competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition was called Beovizija. Her song was "Januar". Even though she finished 7th, Ana won an award for the best new artist.
Later, in August, she released her first album, Januar. It was released through City Records. At that time, she used the stage name Nika. This album also started her work with famous songwriters Marina Tucaković and Aleksandar Milić Mili.
In 2006, Nikolić returned to Beovizija with her song "Romale romali". She finished as the runner-up. This song became very successful and is now one of her most famous songs. In the same year, she released her second album, Devojka od čokolade. After this, she went on her first tour around the region.
Ana competed in Beovizija again in March 2009. She reached the final after it was found that votes were counted incorrectly. Nikolić then decided not to take part in the final. In October 2014, she won a case against the Serbian public broadcaster. She received money for damages. In September 2009, she joined a Serbian reality TV show called Farma. However, she was disqualified after three days for breaking the rules. Her third album, Mafia Caffe, came out in July 2010.
In the summer of 2013, she released Milion dolara. This album included several popular songs. These included the title track with Nikolija and "Đavo". Ana's fifth album, Labilna, was released in May 2016. It was produced by hip hop artists Rasta and Coby. This album had a more modern, urban sound, different from her earlier music.

The couple also worked together on the song "Slučajnost". This song was released in June 2017. It was later added to Rasta's album Indigo. After her daughter was born in August 2017, Ana decided to take a break from music. She wanted to focus on being a mother.
In February 2020, Nikolić returned to public life. She released "Bilo je lepo" and music videos for six other songs. These songs were meant to be part of an album called Klinika. However, the album was not released because of the COVID-19 pandemic. By the end of 2022, Nikolić announced her first solo concert. It was planned for October 7, 2023, at the Belgrade Arena. This concert was meant to celebrate twenty years of her career. In August 2023, the company organizing the concert announced that tickets were no longer for sale.
