Anastasia Electra Ashley (born February 10, 1987) is a famous American professional surfer and model. She is known for her amazing skills on the waves and for winning many surfing competitions.

Early Life and First Wave
Anastasia Ashley was born in San Clemente, California. She fell in love with the ocean at a very young age. She started surfing when she was only 5 years old, just before her family moved to the sunny shores of Hawaii.
Her journey to becoming a surfing star had a very humble beginning. When she was 6, she entered a local surf contest. She didn't have a proper surfboard, so she used an old, beaten-up one she found in a trash can. Amazingly, she won the contest! This incredible win showed everyone her natural talent. By the time she was 7, a sponsor noticed her skills and gave her brand-new boards to use.

Anastasia's talent continued to shine as she grew older. She quickly made a name for herself in the world of professional surfing.
Major Wins and Achievements
- In 2003, when she was a teenager, she earned the Triple Crown Rookie of the Year award, which is given to talented newcomers in the sport.
- At just 16 years old, she won her first major national championship.
- She also won two championships from the National Scholastic Surfing Association.
- She became a champion of the Professional Surfing Tour of America.
- In 2010, she won the Pipeline Women's Pro contest in Hawaii, a very famous and challenging competition.
Her success in surfing led to other exciting opportunities. In 2014, she was featured in the famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Life Outside of Surfing
Besides being a top athlete, Anastasia Ashley has explored many other interests. She has worked as a model and even started her own business.
Business and Media Appearances
In 2014, she launched her own jewelry line called Gypsy Jet Set. That same year, she was featured in popular magazines.
She also shared her knowledge at a big technology conference in Ireland called the Web Summit. She talked about how athletes can use social media to build their careers. While in Ireland, she even hoped to convince the country's leader at the time, Taoiseach Enda Kenny (which is like the Prime Minister), to try surfing.
Anastasia has also appeared on television. She was a guest on the cooking competition show Hell's Kitchen, where she taught the winning contestants how to surf. She also appeared on a survival TV show called ... and Afraid, where she had to live in the wild. On the show, she showed her survival skills by catching and eating fish.
