A Look Back: Andersontown's History
Andersontown has a simple but interesting history. One of the earliest times Andersontown was officially noted was in 1875. This was when the Andersontown Post Office appeared on a map of Caroline County. Later, in 1897, a map of Caroline County clearly showed the area simply named "Andersontown." This shows how the community grew and became recognized over time.
