Andrew Keeling is a British civil servant. A civil servant is someone who works for the government to help run the country. Since 2021, he has been the Chief Executive of the Falkland Islands. This role is like being the main manager for the government of the Falkland Islands. The Falkland Islands are a group of islands in the South Atlantic Ocean.
Andy Keeling's Career
Before working for the Falkland Islands, Andy Keeling was the Chief Operating Officer for Leicester City Council. This means he helped manage the daily operations of the local government in Leicester, a city in England.
In September 2020, it was announced that Andy Keeling would become the new Chief Executive of the Falkland Islands. He officially started this important job in April 2021. He took over from the previous Chief Executive, Barry Rowland.
