Angela Patrice Hill (born January 12, 1985) is an American mixed martial artist. She is known for competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Angela fights in the women's Strawweight division.

Before joining the UFC, she was a champion in the Invicta Fighting Championships. She also held a title in the World Kickboxing Association. As of July 2025, she is ranked #12 in the UFC women's strawweight division.

Angela Hill's Early Life and Hobbies

Angela Hill studied art at the Cooper Union school. She earned a special degree in fine arts. Before becoming a professional fighter, she worked as an animator. She also spent some time working as a bartender.

Angela is also a big fan of video games. She enjoys cosplay, which is dressing up as characters. She often appeared in costumes before her fights at Invicta. She has dressed up as characters like Dhalsim and Afro Samurai. She also cosplayed as a Vault Dweller from Fallout.

Starting Her Mixed Martial Arts Journey

Angela Hill began her professional MMA career in 2014. Her first fight was a win against Stephanie Skinner. Stephanie later became an Invicta fighter.

The Ultimate Fighter Challenge

In June 2014, Angela was chosen for a UFC show. It was called The Ultimate Fighter: A Champion Will Be Crowned. She fought Carla Esparza in the first round. Angela lost that fight by submission.

Angela's Time in the UFC

Angela's first UFC fight after The Ultimate Fighter was in December 2014. She fought Emily Kagan and won by decision. Later, she faced Tecia Torres at UFC 188 and lost.

In October 2015, Angela fought Rose Namajunas at UFC 192. She lost this fight in the first round. After this, she left the UFC for a short time.

Becoming a Champion in Invicta FC
