Angela Yeung Wing (born February 28, 1989), known as Angelababy, is a famous Chinese model and actress. She became well-known for her acting roles and her modeling work. In 2013, she was named one of the "New Four Dan Actresses," a title for top young actresses in China. She also won an award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie Mojin: The Lost Legend in 2016. From 2014 to 2023, she was a popular cast member on the Chinese variety show Keep Running.

Early Life and Career Start

Angelababy was born in Shanghai, China. Her mother is from Shanghai, and her father is from Hong Kong. Her father has German and Chinese family roots. Her birth name is Yang Ying.

Her father had a fashion business in Shanghai. Angelababy became interested in fashion because of him. She enjoyed trying on clothes in his store and mixing different styles.

When she was thirteen, Yang moved to Hong Kong. At 14, she signed a modeling contract. Her English name is Angela, and friends sometimes called her "Baby." She combined these names to create her stage name, Angelababy. She can speak English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese, and Japanese.
