Huang Xiaoming (born November 13, 1977), also known as Mark Huang, is a famous Chinese actor, singer, and model. He is one of China's most well-known stars.
Huang became famous after starring as Emperor Wu of Han in the TV show The Prince of Han Dynasty in 2001. He is also known for his roles in popular shows like The Return of the Condor Heroes (2006) and Shanghai Bund (2007). He has also starred in many successful movies, including The Message (2009) and American Dreams in China (2013).

Early Life and Education
Huang Xiaoming was born in Qingdao, a city in the Shandong province of China. He is the only child of an engineer and an accountant. When he was nine, a film studio chose him to be the star of a movie. His cousin is Chen Meng, who won two gold medals in table tennis at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
As a student, Huang wanted to be a scientist. However, his teacher encouraged him to try out for the famous Beijing Film Academy. Just a month before his audition, a jeep ran over his foot. He had to go to the interview on crutches. Despite his injury, he was accepted. He graduated in 2000, along with other famous actors like Zhao Wei and Chen Kun.

Rise to Fame on Television
Huang's first big role was in the TV series The Prince of Han Dynasty. The show was a huge hit and made him a star. He played the main character in all three parts of the series, which ran from 2001 to 2005.
After this success, he starred in other popular TV shows. In Shanghai Bund (2007), he played a powerful gangster in 1930s Shanghai. He also played the clever and funny Wei Xiaobao in Royal Tramp, based on a famous martial arts novel. These roles made him one of the most popular actors in China.
Success in Movies
After becoming a TV star, Huang started acting in movies. He appeared in action and martial arts films like The Sniper (2009) and Ip Man 2 (2010).
His role in the 2013 movie American Dreams in China was a major success. The film is about three friends who start an English language school. For his performance, Huang won Best Actor at four major award shows, including the Golden Rooster Awards and Hundred Flowers Awards.
He continued to star in big movies, such as John Woo's epic romance The Crossing (2014). In 2019, he played a brave firefighter in the disaster movie The Bravest. In 2020, he starred in the popular drama Winter Begonia, where he played a patriotic businessman who loves opera.

Besides acting, Huang is a smart businessman. He is a shareholder in Huayi Brothers Media Corporation, a major entertainment company in China.

Personal Life
Huang Xiaoming began dating actress and model Angelababy in 2009. They officially registered their marriage in 2015 and had a large wedding ceremony in Shanghai. They have one son, who was born in 2017. The couple announced their divorce in January 2022.
In 2024, Huang confirmed he was in a relationship with internet personality Ye Ke.
