Anna Volodymyrivna Sedokova (born on December 16, 1982) is a talented Ukrainian singer, actress, and television presenter. She became very well-known in 2002 as a member of the popular Russian pop girl group Nu Virgos. This group was also called "VIA Gra" in Ukraine and other nearby countries.
After being part of the group's "golden line-up" for two years, Anna started her own solo music career in 2006. She released many hit songs. Her first album, Lichnoe, came out in 2016 and was very successful, reaching number two in Russia. Besides music, Anna Sedokova also gained fame as an actress and TV host in various Ukrainian and Russian shows.

Early Life and Education
Anna Sedokova was born in 1982 in Kiev, Ukraine. At that time, Kiev was part of the Soviet Union. Her parents had moved from Tomsk, and they divorced when Anna was young.
As a child, Anna loved music and dancing. When she was 17, she enrolled in the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. While studying, she also started hosting television shows, showing her early talent for entertainment.
Career Highlights

Anna's first job in television was as a news anchor for a music TV channel called OTV. By the time she was 18, she had already worked on three different TV programs. In 2001, she successfully auditioned for the morning show Podjem ("Waking up") on Novyi Kanal, which was a very popular show.
From 2002 to 2004, Anna was a member of the famous Nu Virgos pop group. This group was known for its catchy songs and energetic performances.
Acting Roles
Anna also appeared in several movies. She acted in a film called Cinderella and another movie based on a book by Gogol, titled The Evenings on the Homestead. In 2006, she had a significant role in The Tunguska Meteorite. Later, in 2008, she acted in The Power of Attraction. In 2011, Anna was the lead actress in the movie The Pregnant, which was a big success in Russia.
Solo Music Journey
After leaving Nu Virgos, Anna Sedokova started her solo singing career. Her first music video for the song "My Heart" quickly became a top hit. This song also won her an Audience Appreciation Award at the 5 STARS Sotchi Music Festival. She then released videos for her songs "The Very Best Girl" and "I Am Getting Used," both of which were very popular in Russia and Ukraine.
Television Hosting
Anna's career in television continued to grow. In 2008, she was part of TVStar Superstar, a large and expensive show in Ukraine. She was on live broadcasts every Sunday, with many participants.
In 2009, Elle magazine named Anna the best TV Host in the country. She became one of the main faces of Channel One Russia, a major Russian-speaking channel. Anna also hosted the show King of the Ring and a big live concert called The New Songs About the Most Essential Thing, featuring 50 top performers. She also participated in popular shows like Two Stars and Ice Age, where she entertained millions of viewers with her creative performances. In 2011, Anna hosted Project Runway Russia.
Personal Life
Anna Sedokova married Belarusian footballer Valyantsin Byalkevich in 2004. Their daughter, Alina, was born a few months later on December 8. The couple divorced in 2006.
Anna then married businessman Maxim Chernyavsky in February 2011. They had a daughter named Monika. Their marriage ended in February 2013.
In May 2017, it was reported that Anna would marry Artyom Komarov, a Russian businessman and the father of her third child, a son named Hector. However, in August 2017, Anna announced that her relationship with Komarov had ended.
In September 2020, Anna married for the third time to Jānis Timma, a professional basketball player from Latvia. In late 2024, Anna filed for divorce from Timma. On December 16, 2024, which was Anna's 42nd birthday, Timma was found dead.
Anna has spoken out against unfair treatment of women in the music industry and on television. In 2020, she supported Kazakh singer Dequine, who spoke about her own experiences with harassment and encouraged women to stand together.
