The Annabelle Candy Company, also known as Annabelle's, makes yummy candies. It is based in Hayward, California, in the United States.
The company started in San Francisco, California in 1950. It was founded by Sam Altshuler, who came from Russia. He named the company after his daughter, Annabelle.
One of their most famous candies is the "Rocky Road" bar. In 2007, it was one of the top 40 best-selling chocolate bars on the West Coast of the United States.
The company moved to its current home in Hayward in 1965. Later, Annabelle Candy Company bought other candy makers. In 1972, they bought the Golden Nugget Company. In 1978, they added popular candy bars like Big Hunk, Look!, U-NO, and Abba-Zaba to their own candy family.
