The Annandale Historic District is a special area in the village. It was recognized for its important buildings and history. This district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 8, 1994.

It's important because of its architecture, businesses, and industries from 1852 to 1930. The district includes 191 buildings that help tell its story.

Education in Annandale

Annandale has a school called Immaculate Conception School. It teaches students from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. This school is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen.
