Anne-Marie Johnson (born July 18, 1960) is an American actress. She is also an impressionist, meaning she is good at imitating other people. She is famous for her roles in TV shows like What's Happening Now!!, In the Heat of the Night, and That's So Raven.
Anne-Marie Johnson was also a cast member on the funny TV show In Living Color. She has appeared in many other popular shows like Melrose Place, JAG, and Girlfriends.

Anne-Marie Johnson was born in Los Angeles, California. This is a big city in the United States. She went to John Marshall High School and finished in 1978. After high school, she studied acting and theater at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She earned a special degree in these subjects.
Her Acting Career
Anne-Marie Johnson started her TV career on a game show called Card Sharks in 1979. She also appeared on other game shows. In the 1970s, she acted in Australian TV dramas like Homicide.
In 1984, she had a role in the comedy show Double Trouble. At the same time, she also appeared in the police drama Hill Street Blues.
From 1985 to 1988, she played Nadine Hudson Thomas in the TV show What's Happening Now!!. This show was shown on many different TV channels. In 1988, Anne-Marie Johnson got a main role in the police drama In the Heat of the Night. She played Althea Tibbs until 1993.
While on In the Heat of the Night, she even recorded a song called "Little Drummer Boy". This song was for a Christmas CD made by the show's cast. She also acted in several movies during this time. Some of these movies include Hollywood Shuffle (1987) and The Five Heartbeats (1991).
After In the Heat of the Night, Anne-Marie Johnson joined the cast of In Living Color. This was a popular TV show with short, funny scenes. She was on the show for its last season from 1993 to 1994.
From 1995 to 1996, she played Alycia Barnett in the drama series Melrose Place. Later, from 1997 to 2002, she had a regular role on the show JAG. She played Representative Bobbi Latham.
Anne-Marie Johnson has also made guest appearances on many other TV shows. These include That's So Raven, where she played Donna Cabonna. She also appeared in Murder, She Wrote, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Grey's Anatomy.
In recent years, she had a main role in the drama The InBetween in 2019. In 2020, she appeared in Cherish the Day and How to Get Away with Murder. In 2022, she returned to her role as Donna Cabonna in an episode of Raven's Home.
