Annie Liu Sum-yau (Chinese: 劉心悠) is an actress from Taiwan who works in Hong Kong. She was born on April 1, 1981.
About Annie Liu
Annie Liu was born in Taiwan. When she was young, her parents sent her to Vancouver, Canada, to study. In 2004, she appeared in a TV commercial for China Airlines, a big airline in Taiwan.
Before becoming an actress in 2005, Annie studied industrial design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. She started her acting career in 2005. Her first main role was in the film Mob Sister. For this role, she was nominated for Best New Performer at the 25th Hong Kong Film Awards.
After her acting debut, Annie moved to Hong Kong. She has starred in many films and TV shows there. While she mostly acts in movies, she also takes on TV series and hosts variety shows sometimes. Annie now runs her own management company.
