Biography

Anoushey Ashraf was born in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Her family is Pakistani Muslim with roots from Iran. Her father was a businessman who owned factories that made cooking oil. She has two sisters named Natasha and Alizeh. After finishing her high school studies (A Levels), she earned a B.A. degree, focusing on English Literature.

Anoushey started her career in early 2002. She quickly became a popular video jockey (VJ) and TV host. As an actress, she appeared in several television shows. These include Sehra Main Safar, Chanar Ghati, and Saanp Seerhi. In September 2012, Anoushey Ashraf began hosting a morning show on Health TV. Later, in 2014, she co-hosted the Pakistani music competition show Pakistan Idol alongside Mohib Mirza. She joined the show during the Piano rounds, working with the final 24 contestants. Besides her work in media, Anoushey is also very passionate about helping animals and protecting our planet.
