Anthony Corrie, born on June 22, 1984, in Darwin, Australia, is a former professional Australian rules footballer. He played 56 games in the top-level Australian Football League (AFL).

Anthony Corrie's Football Journey
Early Days and Big Talent
Anthony was seen as one of Australia's most talented young players under 18. In 2002, he was named an "All-Australian." He also won the Harrison Medal at the Under 18 National Championships. These achievements caught the eye of AFL talent scouts.
The Brisbane Lions picked him in the 2002 AFL Draft. He started playing junior football with the Nightcliff Football Club in the Northern Territory. Anthony is also of Indigenous heritage. He made his AFL debut in 2004 with the Brisbane Lions.
Facing Challenges
Anthony faced some tough injuries during his career.
- In 2004, he broke his jaw during a game.
- He also had a finger injury that caused a setback.
- In 2006, he seriously injured his knee. This injury, called a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, ended his season.
After the 2006 season, the Brisbane Lions decided not to keep him on their main list. However, they still saw his potential. They picked him again in the 2006 Rookie Draft. This allowed him to continue playing for the Lions.
Moving Clubs
At the end of the 2008 season, Anthony moved to a new club. He was traded to the Collingwood Football Club. In return, the Lions received a draft pick. He played three games for Collingwood over the next two seasons. After the 2010 AFL season, he was no longer on their team list.
Life After Playing
Since 2014, Anthony Corrie has been a playing coach. He coaches the Kenmore Australian Football Club. This club plays in the QFA South league.
Anthony also has family connections in the AFL. He is the first cousin of Aaron Davey from the Melbourne Football Club. He is also the first cousin of Alwyn Davey from the Essendon Football Club. Their mothers are sisters.
