Anthony Dobbins played as a shooting guard. He started his professional playing career in 2004. He played for several teams in the United States and Europe.

In 2020, Anthony Dobbins became an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics. Before this, he worked with the Celtics' video team for two years. As an assistant coach, he helps the team plan strategies and train players. In 2024, Dobbins achieved a major milestone. He became an NBA champion when the Celtics won the 2024 NBA Finals. They defeated the Dallas Mavericks in five games.
