Anthony M. Duruji (born July 22, 1998) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Saint-Chamond Basket in France. Anthony played college basketball for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the Florida Gators.

High School Basketball Journey
Anthony Duruji grew up in Germantown, Maryland. He played basketball at St. Andrew's Episcopal School. During his three seasons there, he scored over 1,000 points.
Besides basketball, Anthony was also a top triple jumper in the country. But he decided to focus on basketball. In 2017, he entered the American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk competition. He showed off his amazing jumping skills and finished in second place. Many colleges near his hometown wanted him. However, he chose to join Louisiana Tech because he liked their coaches.
College Basketball Career
Playing for Louisiana Tech
When Anthony joined the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, he quickly became known for his athletic ability. As a freshman, he was chosen for the Conference USA All-Freshman team. This award goes to the best new players in the league. In his second year, he played even better. He scored about 12.2 points and grabbed 6.2 rebounds per game.
Transferring to Florida
After two years, Anthony moved to the Florida Gators. He had to sit out the 2019–20 season. This is a common rule when players transfer.
In the 2020–21 season, Anthony became a very important player for the Gators. He stepped up when another key player, Keyontae Johnson, got injured. Anthony started 17 out of 25 games. He averaged 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds each game. The next season, 2021–22, he played alongside Colin Castleton. They were a strong duo in the low post area. Anthony averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game that season.
On April 1, 2022, Anthony decided to enter the 2022 NBA draft. This meant he would not play his final year of college basketball.
Professional Basketball Journey
Starting with Greensboro Swarm
Before the 2022 NBA draft, Anthony worked out for the Washington Wizards. However, he was not picked by any team in the draft. He then played for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2022 NBA Summer League. This is a special league where new players and young pros get to show their skills.
On September 12, 2022, Anthony signed with the Charlotte Hornets. He played in two preseason games for them. But on October 14, 2022, he was waived, meaning the team let him go. Soon after, on November 4, 2022, Anthony joined the Greensboro Swarm. This team plays in the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA.
Playing in Mexico and Back to the G League
Anthony returned to the Charlotte Hornets for the 2023 NBA Summer League. On September 23, 2023, he signed with Libertadores de Querétaro. This team plays in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional in Mexico.
On January 29, 2024, Anthony came back to the NBA G League. He joined the Rip City Remix.
Playing in France
On July 30, 2024, Anthony signed with Saint-Chamond Basket. This team plays in the LNB Pro B, which is a professional basketball league in France.
Personal Life
Anthony's mother is Esther Obioha. She was also a talented athlete. She competed in track, high jump, and javelin for her home country, Nigeria.
