Antonella Del Core is a famous Italian volleyball player. She was born on November 5, 1980, in Naples, Italy. Antonella is known for her powerful plays as a wing spiker. She is 1.80 meters (about 5 feet 11 inches) tall.

She played for the Italy women's national volleyball team. She even competed in the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Antonella won the "Best Server" award in the 2013–14 CEV Women's Champions League. Her team, Dinamo Kazan from Russia, also won the championship that year.

Antonella Del Core has had an amazing career filled with many victories. She played for several top clubs around the world. Her skills helped her teams win many important championships.

Big Wins with Dinamo Kazan

In the 2013–14 season, Antonella played for the Russian club Dinamo Kazan. They won the 2013–14 CEV Women's Champions League. This big tournament was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Dinamo Kazan beat Rabita Baku and VakıfBank İstanbul to win the title. Antonella was recognized as the "Best Server" in this competition. This means she was excellent at serving the ball.

The next year, in 2014, Antonella and Dinamo Kazan won another huge title. They became champions of the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. They won against the Brazilian team Molico Osasco in the final match.

Playing for Italy

Antonella also represented her home country, Italy. She played with the national team in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Her team finished in fourth place after a close match against Brazil.
