Antonella Del Core is an Italian professional volleyball player. She was born on November 5, 1980, in Naples, Italy. She is known for her strong play as a Wing Spiker, which is a player who attacks from the sides of the court.

Antonella has played for the Italy women's national volleyball team in many big competitions. She even competed in the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. She is about 1.80 meters (5 feet 11 inches) tall. She won the "Best Server" award in the 2013–14 CEV Women's Champions League and helped her team, Dinamo Kazan, win the championship that year.

Antonella Del Core has had a very successful career playing volleyball for different clubs and her national team. She has won many important titles and awards.

Club Successes

Antonella played for the Russian club Dinamo Kazan. In the 2013–14 season, her team won the 2013–14 CEV Women's Champions League. This is one of the biggest club competitions in Europe. They won the final match 3-0 against VakıfBank İstanbul from Turkey. Antonella was recognized as the "Best Server" of the tournament for her amazing serves.

The next year, in 2014, Antonella and Dinamo Kazan also won the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. This competition brings together the best club teams from all over the world. They won the gold medal by beating Molico Osasco from Brazil 3-0 in the final game.

Playing for Italy

Antonella also played for the Italian national team in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Her team played very well and finished in fourth place. They narrowly missed out on a bronze medal, losing a close match to Brazil.
