Antonio Hart (born September 30, 1968) is an American jazz musician. He is famous for playing the alto saxophone. Antonio was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
He started his music journey at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Later, he studied at the Berklee College of Music with Andy McGhee. He also earned a master's degree from Queens College, City University of New York. Antonio first trained in classical music. But he switched to jazz when he was in college. He became well-known for his work with jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove.
Today, Antonio Hart is a full-time professor. He teaches jazz studies at the Aaron Copland School of Music. This school is part of Queens College, City University of New York. He is also a member of the Sigma chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
