Antonio Langella (born March 30, 1977) is a former Italian football player. He played as a forward or a winger. This means he played in attacking positions on the field. He could play on either side of the pitch.

Antonio Langella's Club Career
Antonio Langella started his football journey in Sardinia, Italy. He played for several smaller clubs there. In March 2002, he joined Cagliari Calcio. At that time, Cagliari was in Serie B, which is Italy's second-highest football league.
He made his first appearance in Serie A on September 12, 2004. Serie A is the top football league in Italy. This big moment was in a game against Bologna.
After playing for Cagliari, Antonio moved to Atalanta on July 10, 2007. In 2008, he joined Udinese. From Udinese, he was immediately loaned out to Chievo.
In the summer of 2009, he joined Bari. Bari was a newly promoted team in Serie A. He signed a three-year deal with them. Antonio played nine Serie A games in his first season with Bari. In the next two seasons, he did not play any games. In September 2011, he ended his contract with Bari. After that, he stopped playing professional football.
Playing for Italy: International Career
Antonio Langella also played for the Italian national team. This is a big honor for any football player. He played three games for Italy in 2005. The coach at that time was Marcello Lippi.
His first game for Italy was on February 9, 2005. It was a friendly match against Russia, which Italy won 2-0. He also played in a 0-0 friendly draw against Iceland on March 30. His last game for Italy was on June 11, 2005. It was a 1-1 friendly draw against Ecuador in New York.
