Antonio Suárez Vázquez (born May 20, 1932 – died January 6, 1981) was a professional road bicycle racer from Spain. He competed in races from 1956 to 1965. Antonio Suárez is most famous for winning the main prize, called the overall title, at the 1959 Vuelta a España. This is a very important cycling race. He also won the "King of the Mountains" award in the same year. This award goes to the best climber.
In 1961, Suárez won the "points classification" at the Vuelta. This means he earned the most points for finishing well in different stages. He also won five different stages during his career at the Vuelta. A stage is one day's race within a longer event.
Suárez also did very well in the 1961 Giro d'Italia. This is another major cycling race. He won one stage and finished in third place overall. He was behind Arnaldo Pambianco from Italy and Jacques Anquetil from France.
