Antwain Britt (born May 9, 1978) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He is known for competing in a sport called mixed martial arts (MMA). He fought in big organizations like Strikeforce and was even a contestant on a TV show called The Ultimate Fighter 8.

Antwain Britt's Story
Early Life and Sports
Antwain Britt grew up in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He also lived for some time in Baltimore, Maryland. In high school, he was a great athlete. He played football and was a talented wrestler.
After high school, Antwain continued wrestling at Old Dominion University. Later, he started training in mixed martial arts. He did this to get back into shape and stay healthy.
Starting His MMA Career
Antwain Britt began his professional MMA journey in the Heavyweight division. After a few fights, he moved to the Light Heavyweight division.
He was chosen to be on The Ultimate Fighter 8, a TV show where fighters compete. Antwain won his first fight against Ryan Jimmo. However, he broke his hand during the fight. Because of his injury, he had to leave the show. Another fighter, Eliot Marshall, took his place.
After the show, Antwain kept fighting. He won against Antonio Mendes at an event called Shine Fights 1. He then joined a tournament called VFC: A Night Of Vengeance. He beat two more fighters, Carmelo Marrero and Rich Hale. But in the final match, he lost to Rodney Wallace.
Fighting in Strikeforce
In September 2009, Antwain Britt signed with Strikeforce. This was a major MMA organization. He trained with Carlos Carvahlo, a skilled martial arts instructor.
Antwain's first fight in Strikeforce was against Scott Lighty. Antwain won this fight by TKO (Technical Knockout). This means the referee stopped the fight because Scott Lighty could not continue.
His next fight was a big one against Rafael Cavalcante. The winner of this fight would get a chance to challenge for the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship. Antwain lost this fight by KO (Knockout).
Antwain then fought Ovince St. Preux at a Strikeforce Challengers event. He lost this fight by decision. His last fight in Strikeforce was against Lumumba Sayers. Antwain moved to the Middleweight division for this fight. He lost by KO early in the first round.
