Sanders was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2003 NFL draft. He also played for the Miami Dolphins. Later, he joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Early Life and High School Years
Antwoine Sanders grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He went to Terry Sanford High School. There, he played football for two years.
He was a very good player in high school. He earned special awards for being one of the best in his area. Antwoine finished high school in 1996. He did not start playing college football right away.
College Football Journey
Sanders first went to Independence Community College. Then, he moved to Arizona Western College. He had to wait one year before he could play there.
In 2000, he became a starter at free safety. He was recognized as one of the best players in his conference.
After that, Sanders played for the Utah Utes at the University of Utah. He played there in 2001 and 2002. In 2001, he was a starting free safety. He made many tackles and had four interceptions. He was named second-team All-Mountain West Conference.
In 2002, he continued to play well. He had 65 tackles and two interceptions. This earned him first-team All-Mountain West honors. Sanders decided to enter the NFL draft early, at age 25. He studied sociology at Utah and later graduated in 2018.
Playing Professional Football
The Baltimore Ravens picked Antwoine Sanders in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL draft. He signed with the team in July. However, he was released due to an injury in August 2003.
Sanders then signed with the Miami Dolphins in January 2004. He was released by the Dolphins in March 2004.
In 2005, he played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League. He played in seven games for them. During this time, he made ten tackles on defense. He also had four tackles on special teams. He even got one interception and broke up one pass.
