About Apostolia Zoi
Her Early Life and Music Start
When Apostolia was 14, she moved to Thessaloniki to focus on diving and swimming. She even graduated from the Gymnastics Academy. One night, while out with friends, she was given a microphone at a club and started to sing. The club owner quickly saw her talent and hired her to perform there.
Apostolia soon realized she wanted to be a singer. She began taking vocal lessons to improve her voice. At the same time, she sang with famous Greek artists like Vasilis Karras and Peggy Zina. She even performed a duet called "Maskes" with Peggy Zina. After this, she moved to Athens to continue her music career.
Starting Her Music Career (2003)
In Athens, Apostolia spent her first year singing in music clubs with Peggy Zina. Soon, she signed a record deal with Minos EMI. In June 2003, she released her first album, To Proto Vima, which means "The First Step."
Songs like "Mi M'Akoubas" and "Shedon Pote" became popular hits. "Shedon Pote" even became the theme song for a TV show! In the summer of 2004, she performed at a popular club called "Thalassa" with other well-known singers like Elena Paparizou. This helped her show off her amazing singing skills even more.
New Music and Big Hits (2004–2005)
After the summer of 2004, Apostolia joined a new record company called Virus Music. In January 2005, she released her second album, Apo Do Kai Pera, which means "From Here On Out."
The song "Krima" became a huge radio hit and her first really big success! Other songs from the album, like "Mou Eleipses" and "Apo Do Kai Pera," also became popular. This made her a very well-known name in Greece.
In the summer of 2005, she performed again at "Thalassa" club. She also sang at "Apollon" club during the winter season. Around Christmas 2005, Apostolia released a special Christmas song called "To Kalytero Doro" (The Best Gift) with the boyband 4Play.
More Albums and Collaborations (2006–Present)
On May 5, 2006, Apostolia Zoi released her third album, Th' Afisei Epohi, meaning "It Will Leave a History." This album had a slightly different sound but still kept her unique style. The title track became a hit. She also sang a duet called "Lipstick" with her friend Gianni Tsimitseli.
In June 2007, Apostolia performed a remix of the song "Geia Sou" with the famous singer Kostas Tournas at the "Mad Music Video Awards." Later that year, she rejoined her first record company, Minos EMI.
She then started recording new songs for her fourth album. On June 9, 2008, she released the first song, "Ti stis 8, Ti stis 7." Her fourth album, Me To Heri Stin Kardia (With My Hand on My Heart), came out on June 23, 2008.
