Arabella Miho Steinbacher (born November 14, 1981) is a famous German classical violinist. She is known for her amazing performances around the world.

Early Life and Musical Start

Arabella Steinbacher was born in Munich, Germany. Her mother is Japanese, and her father is German. She started playing the violin when she was only three years old. Her mother learned about the Suzuki method, a special way to teach music to young children.

When Arabella was nine, she joined the Munich College of Music. There, she learned from a great teacher named Ana Chumachenco.

Learning from the Best

Arabella also met other famous musicians. She took part in special lessons called master classes. These were taught by well-known violin teachers like Dorothy DeLay. She also became a student of Anne-Sophie Mutter, another very famous violinist. Anne-Sophie Mutter helped young musicians through her "Circle of friends" program.

Performing Around the World

Arabella Steinbacher often plays with top orchestras all over the globe. She has performed with groups like the New York Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has also worked with many famous conductors. These are the people who lead the orchestra.

Arabella has made many recordings of her music. She records her music with a company called PENTATONE. She has won several important music awards. These include the ECHO Klassik award, which she won twice.
