Arabilla is a very small village, often called a hamlet. It is home to people from the Aymara group. This quiet place is found high up in the mountains of the Tarapacá Region in Chile.
Arabilla sits right by the beautiful Arabilla lagoon and the Isluga river. It's about 26 kilometers (around 16 miles) from a town called Colchane. It is also very close to another village, Enquelga, only 1 kilometer (less than a mile) away.
Life in Arabilla
The people living in Arabilla have a special way of life. They mostly earn a living from three main activities:
