Aram Avetiki Sargsyan (born April 5, 1984), known as Aram Mp3, is a popular Armenian singer and comedian. He became famous for representing Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with his song "Not Alone". He finished in 4th place in the contest.

Early Life and Education
Aram Sargsyan was born in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, on April 5, 1984. From a young age, he loved to perform. He was part of many choirs and school plays.
He studied pharmacy at Yerevan State Medical University. He graduated in 2006. While at university, he also performed in a comedy show called KVN. He played with Armenian university teams and later with the Armenian team Ararat in Moscow.
Career Highlights
Starting Out (2006–2012)
In 2006, Aram joined a comedy group called 32 Teeth. He often sang funny versions of popular songs. This is how he got his nickname "Aram Mp3", which sounds like the audio file format MP3. One of his friends, Vahagn Grigoryan, gave him this name.
In 2007, Aram won a TV show called 2 Stars on Armenia 1. He also started performing live music in jazz and blues clubs. He recorded songs and made music videos. Aram became a well-known TV host for shows like X-Factor and Hay Superstar. In 2010, he and his friends started a stand-up comedy TV show called Vitamin Club. He also hosted other shows on Armenia TV, including Nice Evening.
Eurovision Song Contest (2013–2014)
In 2013, Aram focused more on his music. He released his first solo music videos for songs like "Shine" and "If I Tried". He wrote these songs with his friend, Garik Papoyan.
On December 31, 2013, Aram Mp3 was chosen to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Denmark. His song was called "Not Alone".
Before the contest, Aram Mp3 made some comments that caused a misunderstanding with another performer, Conchita Wurst. He quickly apologized, saying he didn't mean to cause any offense. They later met and showed they were friends, and Aram Mp3 made it clear he respects everyone.
Aram Mp3 performed first in the semi-final on May 6, 2014. He made it to the final on May 10, 2014. In the final, he performed seventh and finished in 4th place with 174 points.
After Eurovision (2014–Present)
After Eurovision, Aram Mp3 appeared as a guest on many Armenian TV shows. These included The Voice and X Factor. His new song "Help" came out in February 2015.
In 2016, he voiced the adult Simba in the Armenian version of The Lion King movie. He sang the main song "Circle of Life".
From 2016, he was a judge and mentor in the Armenian Eurovision National final. In February 2017, Aram Mp3 and Iveta Mukuchyan released a song together called "Dashterov". They also started a project called "Dashterov" with traditional Armenian songs. Aram also joined a project to help Armenian children with cancer.
Personal Life
Aram Mp3 married Anna Margaryan in April 2008. They have a son named Arno, who was born in June 2011.
