Arani River facts for kids
Arani River is a 108 km long river) in India. It flows through the states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.The Arani river rises at Sadasivakonda in Chittoor district. It flows through to join the southwest tip of the Pulicat Lake in Minjur Block, Tiruvallur district. Then flows into the Bay of Bengal. It has a drainage area of about 1535 km2 with over one half lying in Andhra Pradesh.
