Ricardo Arap Bethke Galdames, born on March 12, 1980, is a talented actor from Mexico. He is known for his many roles in television shows and movies.

Early Life and Background
Arap Bethke was born in Nairobi, Kenya. His full name is Ricardo Arap Bethke Galdames. In the Kalenjin language, "Arap Bethke" means "Bethke's son." His father, Claus Bethke, is German, and his mother, Patricia Galdames, is Chilean.
Arap lived in Nairobi until he was five years old. His father worked for the United Nations, an organization that helps countries work together. Because of his father's job, Arap's family moved around a lot. He came to Mexico when he was very young. He spent his childhood and teenage years there.
He went to Peterson College for high school. Later, he studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He earned a degree in communication. Arap has two brothers and one sister. His sister was born in Washington, United States. One of his brothers was born in Ecuador. Arap speaks four languages: Spanish, English, Italian, and French. Because he was born in Kenya and grew up in Mexico, he sometimes calls himself a "Mexikenian."
Acting Career
Arap Bethke started his acting career in 1997. He has appeared in many popular TV shows and films.
Early Roles in Television
One of his early well-known roles was "Chacho" in the TV show Clase 406. In 2007, he appeared in an episode of Ugly Betty. He played Antonio Barreiro, a cafe waiter.
Arap also starred in "Tierra de pasiones." He played Demetrio Aguirre in Madre Luna. He was also a main character in Doña Bárbara (Telemundo series). In that show, he played Antonio Sandoval.
He also made a guest appearance on the first season of RBD: La Familia. He played Alvaro, a new friend of Dulce Maria. He acted alongside the stars of the show, who were also members of the Latin pop band RBD.
Recent Work and Life
Arap Bethke has continued to act in many projects. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. He is engaged to actress Ivana De Maria. They have been together since 2017.
