Archail is found in a beautiful part of France, surrounded by mountains. It's in the Digne-les-Bains area and belongs to the Seyne canton. The village is quite high up, with an average elevation of 920 meters (about 3,018 feet) above sea level. Some parts of the commune reach as high as 1,984 meters (about 6,509 feet)!
