Archbold is a small village in Fulton County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 4,516 people lived there. It's located about 40 miles southwest of Toledo. Archbold is also home to Northwest State Community College.

A Look Back: Archbold's History
Archbold was started in 1855. This happened when a railroad line was built through the area. The village was likely named after John Archbald, who helped build the railroad. Another story says the name comes from combining "Arch" and "Bald," who were two other railroad officials. A post office has been open in Archbold since 1855.
In 1983, Archbold was named a Tree City USA. This award comes from the National Arbor Day Foundation. It means the village does a good job taking care of its trees.
