The story begins when a science experiment at Riverdale High goes wrong. This makes the town of Riverdale a "magnet" for all sorts of strange creatures and events. Think of it like monsters from old B-movies! Archie and his friends work together to solve these weird mysteries. The show is a bit like Scooby-Doo mixed with The X-Files.
Archie's Weird Mysteries was created to meet rules for educational children's TV. It first aired in the United States on the PAX network. Later, it premiered in France on M6 in January 2000.
