Arico is a cool place on the island of Tenerife in Spain. It's both a town and a larger area called a municipality. Tenerife is one of the sunny Canary Islands. Arico is located in the southeastern part of the island.
This municipality stretches from high mountains down to the beautiful beaches. It covers about 178.76 square kilometers. Imagine a big area with different landscapes! Around 7,500 people live here. A main road, the TF-1 motorway, runs through the eastern side of Arico.
The main office for the area's government is in a village called Villa de Arico. Other villages in this municipality include Arico Nuevo, Arico Viejo, Abades, La Jaca, Tajao, and Poris de Abona. Each village has its own unique charm.
