Arivaca Lake is a lake located in southern Arizona. It is about 60 miles (97 km) south of Tucson, close to the town of Arivaca. This lake is actually a reservoir, which means it's an artificial lake built to store water.
In 1999, something sad happened at Arivaca Lake. All the fish in the lake died because there wasn't enough oxygen in the water for them to breathe. The Arizona Game and Fish Department takes care of the lake and its facilities.
