Arlanzón is a small town and a municipality in Spain. It is located in the province of Burgos, which is part of the Castile and León region. A municipality is like a local area with its own government.
The municipality of Arlanzón is made up of five smaller places. These are Arlanzón itself (which is the main town), Agés, Galarde, Santovenia de Oca, and Zalduendo.

In 2004, a count of the people (called a census) showed that about 411 people lived in the municipality. By 2018, the population was around 408 people.

The Camino de Santiago
One of the routes of the Camino de Santiago goes through Arlanzón. The Camino de Santiago is a very old and famous walking path. Many people from all over the world walk parts of it. It is even a World Heritage Site, which means it is very important to history and culture.
The Greenway of the Sierra de la Demanda
Another cool path is the Greenway of the Sierra de la Demanda. This path used to be a railway line, but now it's a lovely trail. You can walk or cycle along it from Arlanzón all the way to a place called Monterrubio de la Demanda. It's a great way to see the local countryside!
