Arthur Nory Oyakawa Mariano (born September 18, 1993) is a talented Brazilian artistic gymnast. He is a key member of the Brazilian national gymnastics team. Arthur has competed in three Olympic Games. He represented Brazil in 2016, 2020, and 2024. He won a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics for his floor exercise. Arthur is also a World Champion from 2019. He won gold on the horizontal bar. In 2022, he earned a bronze medal on the horizontal bar at the World Championships.

Arthur's Early Life

Arthur Mariano was born in 1993 in Campinas, Brazil. His father was Brazilian, and his mother was Japanese Brazilian. When he was a child, Arthur first practiced judo. He followed in his father's footsteps. However, everything changed when he saw a gymnastics class. He was so amazed that he decided to try it.

After his parents separated, Arthur moved to São Paulo with his mother. There, he joined a gymnastics team at a new club. By the time he was eleven, Arthur became part of Esporte Clube Pinheiros. This is a famous sports club. When he was fourteen, Arthur won the Brazilian Child Gymnastics Championship. This showed everyone his amazing talent.

Arthur's Modeling Career

Besides being a top gymnast, Arthur Mariano is also a model. He has signed with international modeling agencies. In 2019, Arthur became the face of a clothing brand called BENCH. This brand is from the Philippines. He helped promote their men's clothing in Brazil and across Latin America. This shows he has many talents beyond gymnastics!
