Arty McGlynn (born August 7, 1944 – died December 18, 2019) was a super talented guitarist from Omagh, County Tyrone, in Ireland. He was known for his amazing guitar playing, both on his own and with many famous music groups. He played with bands like Patrick Street, Planxty, Four Men and a Dog, and De Dannan. He even played guitar on a popular album called Avalon Sunset by the legendary singer Van Morrison. Arty also performed and recorded music with his wife, Nollaig Casey, who plays the fiddle, and with Liam O'Flynn, a master of the uilleann pipes.
