Many of these mountains are covered in snow for part of the year, making for amazing views. The village itself is about 1,180 meters (around 3,870 feet) above sea level. However, the land around it goes from a low of 1,068 meters to a high of 2,028 meters!
The commune is also very green, with many forested slopes. There are about 1,168 hectares of forest, which is a huge area filled with trees. This makes Auzet a great place for nature lovers and outdoor activities.

Even though Auzet is a small place, it has a few smaller areas called hamlets. These are tiny groups of houses or farms. North of the main village, you can find hamlets like L'Infernet, L'Infernet Haut (Upper L'Infernet), and L'Infernet Bas (Lower L'Infernet).
