Baccarat is a charming town located in the northeastern part of France. It is found in an area called Meurthe-et-Moselle. This town is famous around the world for its beautiful crystal.

Baccarat Crystal
Baccarat is very well known for its amazing crystal glass. In 1764, King Louis XV gave permission for a glass factory to open here. This factory grew into the famous Baccarat crystalworks. They create stunning glass and crystal art.
The company also owns the Musée du Cristal, which is a museum dedicated to crystal. It's the largest private museum in the Lorraine region of France. Here, you can see many incredible crystal pieces.
