History of Bagley
Bagley got its name from Sumner C. Bagley, who was a local lumberman. A post office was opened in the area in 1898, which is when the city officially started.

They were the final team in the Minnesota State High School League to play a game outside. The A.F. Kaiser Arena, which is an indoor ice rink, was built with help from a grant.
