Bahrain (also spelled Behrain) is a cool town in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It's about 60 kilometers north of Mingora. This town sits at an elevation of 4,700 feet (1,435 meters) on the right side of the Swat River.
The name "Bahrain" means "two rivers." This is because the Daral River joins the Swat River right here! It's a beautiful spot known for its tourist resorts by the river. You can also find amazing local handicrafts made by the people who live there. Bahrain is also a starting point for trails that lead to the stunning Daral and Saidgai lakes. It's the main town for the Bahrain Tehsil area.
